Commerce Ministry: Information, Communications Sector Achieves 19% Growth in 2024

The Ministry of Commerce announced a 19% growth in commercial registrations within the information and communications sector in 2024 compared to 2023.
 Promising activities in the sector saw significant increases in the total number of registrations, where software publishing grew by 47%, reaching 7,591 commercial registrations, and cinema screening activities recorded a 44% growth, totaling 1,304 registrations.
 Cybersecurity activities grew by 35%, reaching 8,556 registrations, and computer programming recorded a 27% growth, with a total of 23,506 commercial registrations.
 The information and communications sector is a key enabler of Saudi Vision 2030, pivoting to advancing the digital economy, enhancing capabilities, and building a sustainable future centered on technology and innovation.
