Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches First Shariah Course in Chile
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Argentina, yesterday launched the first Shariah course in Santiago, Chile, to qualify imams, preachers, and muezzins, in partnership with the Islamic Center of Chile.
The course brings together participants from across the country, including imams, students, and others interested in Islamic affairs.
The three-day program aims to enhance trainees’ understanding of Shariah law and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill their mission of spreading Islam’s tolerant teachings, consolidating the values of moderation, and reflecting the bright image of the religion.
This initiative is part of the international programs and activities organized by the ministry in cooperation with Islamic centers and institutions worldwide. It aims to promote moderation, disseminate Islamic knowledge, and prepare imams and preachers to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
