Tariq Abdulhakim Center Museum Marks its First Year

The Tariq Abdulhakim Center Museum in historic Jeddah celebrated its first anniversary under the slogan "Heritage Meets the Future in Harmony".

 The event, held Friday, attracted a remarkable number of culture, art, and music enthusiasts, together with families eager to explore the museum's significant highlights.

 The celebration emphasized the museum's role in promoting artistic and cultural heritage and strengthening the national cultural identity.

 Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy guided tours of the museum. Traditional performances captivated the audience, enabling a delightful exploration of Saudi heritage.

 Moreover, a projection of the enhanced museum façade showing the exquisite details that reflect the essence.

 To honor the legacy of the late musician Tariq Abdulhakim who dedicated his career to celebrating intangible cultural heritage, the event included special acknowledgements of the elements of Saudi Arabia's intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.

 The event also featured a musical performance by Al-Yanbawi band, using the Simsimiyya instrument.
