Saudi Media Forum Launches ‘SAUDI MIB’ Bootcamp to Develop Saudi Media with the Help of AI

The Saudi Media Forum, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), has launched the Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp (SAUDI MIB), part of a broader project focused on business incubators and accelerators that will be launched at the upcoming Saudi Media Forum. The Bootcamp strives to enhance the Kingdom's position in the modern media sector.

SAUDI MIB aims to develop the Saudi media industry using innovative, creative, technological solutions with the use of AI.

It aims to empower local talent, show the Saudi cultural identity, and strengthen partnerships between the media and technology sectors to transform creative ideas into actionable projects, thus improving the Kingdom's regional and global standing.

Saudi Broadcasting Authority CEO Mohammed Al-Harthi said that this boot camp aligns with the Kingdom’s strong focus on adopting digital transformation in all development fields, as a fundamental need to improve people’s welfare.

“We are committed to strengthening the role of artificial intelligence in media and digitally developing it by investing in the capabilities of ambitious youths, as we believe in their role in shaping the future of national media,” he said.

SAUDI MIB is an innovative bootcamp that supports Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering national talent to contribute to a sustainable media industry that aligns with future aspirations.
