NWC Completes SAR86 Million Water Project in Al-Hurrath, Jazan

The Southern Cluster of the National Water Company (NWC) issued a press release today announcing that it started carrying out three drinking water projects in Al-Hurrath governorate, Jazan Region, in order to address the growing demand for water in the governorate, including 26 villages.

 NWC said in the release that it is committed to implementing the project up to the highest quality standards.

 It also said that the new drinking water network, spanning 412 kilometers, includes main lines and distribution networks that feed Al-Sudi and Ramada reservoirs; it boasts a combined capacity of 30,000 cubic meters.

 This significant infrastructure upgrade is expected to benefit more than 7,000 residents.

 According to the release, these projects, with a combined investment exceeding SAR86 million, aim to improve the operational efficiency of the water sector and expand coverage in Jazan region, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

 According to NWC, residents in Al-Hurrath governorate and its affiliated villages (Al-Khall, Al-Dafniyah, Al-Demah, Al-Rahmaniyah (1 & 2), Al-Zabra, Al-Sudi, Al-Shabqa, Al-Dhahr, Al-Kars, Al-Makhlaf, Al-Marwah, Qamar, Al-Mughira (1 & 2), Al-Muqtaba (1, 2 & 3), Umm Al-Kathath, Bahtit (1 & 2), Jada'a Namir, Samil (1 & 3), Zebaid and Marshuha) can now request connection to the new water network through the National Water Company's official channels: mobile app or its website: e.nwc.com.sa.
