National Greening Season Kicks Off Tomorrow to Boost Saudi Green Initiative Goals

The National Greening Season 2025, organized by the National Greening Program, will kick off tomorrow across the Kingdom, contributing to the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative by developing vegetation cover, reducing land degradation, and promoting a culture of afforestation throughout Saudi Arabia.

 The program stated that this year's season seeks to consolidate the importance of planting native plants suitable for the Saudi environment, raise awareness of the impact of poor environmental practices, encourage volunteer work in the environmental field, and strengthen partnerships across government, private, and non-profit sectors.

 The National Greening Season represents an environmental and societal movement that consolidates the concept of sustainability and embodies the role of all sectors and members of society in preserving and developing vegetation cover to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
