KSrelief Signs Agreement to Implement Water Supply, Environmental Sanitation Project in Yemen’s Hodeidah

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), via video conference, with a civil-society organization to implement the tenth phase of the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Project in Yemen’s Hodeidah Governorate, benefiting 39,077 individuals. The agreement was signed by Assistant Supervisor-General of KSrelief for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz.
 Under the project, potable water will be transported and distributed, and water supply and sanitation services will be improved to ensure access to safe drinking water and a healthy, disease-free environment. The project also includes the distribution of personal hygiene kits and cleaning supplies for restrooms, the construction of 20 mobile toilets, preventive maintenance of water tanks and sewage systems, safe waste collection and disposal, and the implementation of health awareness campaigns.
 These come as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing relief and humanitarian efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to strengthen the water and sanitation sector and provide a healthy environment across Yemen.
