ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC SIGNS U.S. STREAMING SENSATION iShowSpeed FOR MILAN FUTURO

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, RedBird Capital’s Operating Partner and AC Milan Senior Advisor, “signed” U.S. sports streaming sensation iShowSpeed to the 2024/25 Milan Futuro team - the new project recently launched by AC Milan to develop young talents.

The playful stunt took place during a live YouTube broadcast, which started off at the iconic San Siro Stadium, where Zlatan met the charismatic streamer. From there, the pair ventured to the heart of the city to experience an exclusive preview of the brand-new AC Milan Flagship store on Via Dante, which is bound to be opened soon.

Positioned just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, this Store is set to become a landmark in both the AC Milan universe and the city’s legacy, promising fans and tourists an immersive Rossoneri experience. Here, in classic Zlatan style, the Swedish superstar pulled out a contract and staged the signing of iShowSpeed to Milan Futuro, under the guidance of new Milan Futuro Sports Development Director Jovan Kirovski, a US-born former soccer player and former LA Galaxy Technical Director.

As Zlatan and iShowSpeed toured the Store, they interacted with staff, shared laughs, and highlighted the vibrant spirit of AC Milan. The new Flagship store is expected to become a must-visit landmark in Milan, offering fans a chance to feel the Rossoneri passion up close. The move is a testament to AC Milan's innovative approach to engaging with fans and expanding its global reach.

The livestream, which now reached a total of 3.7 million views, is integrally available on iShowSpeed’s YouTube channel, accessible to his 26.2 million subscribers; Zlatan also went live on his Instagram account – followed by 64.2 million people –, later reposting it in a reel that amounted to 5.4 million views. By leveraging iShowSpeed’s immense popularity, especially among younger audiences, AC Milan aims to further cement its presence in the U.S. market as the men’s First team gets ready to embark on a Pre-Season Tour in the US, which will see AC Milan play friendly games in New York City (vs Manchester City), Chicago (vs Real Madrid) and Baltimore (vs FC Barcelona). This playful yet strategic partnership exemplifies the Club’s commitment to innovation and fan engagement, setting the stage for exciting developments in the future.
