King Salman International Airport Concludes Participation in Dubai Airshow 2025
King Salman International Airport (KSIA) concluded its participation in Dubai Airshow 2025, a world-leading aviation and aerospace event, held from November 17 to 21 at Al Maktoum International Airport, bringing together a broad range of senior industry figures.
At the event, KSIA showcased its strategic vision and its drive to develop a new model for future airports that reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for aviation and logistics in line with Vision 2030. It also highlighted the KSIA Master Plan along with a preview of Terminal 6, one of the airport’s key future facilities.
Acting CEO of KSIA Marco Mejia stated: “Our participation at the Dubai Airshow underscores the Kingdom’s pioneering of future air transport and our progress towards establishing KSIA as a global benchmark for sustainability and innovation. We are honored to be active in this prestigious event, bringing together global aviation leaders.”
The KSIA booth drew strong attention for its sustainable design, advanced construction practices, and resource-efficient materials, earning an official nomination for the Better Stands Gold Award—a notable mark of recognition within the exhibition sector.
KSIA’s booth offered visitors an immersive journey inspired by the stages of travel, including arrival, boarding, and takeoff, before concluding the experience with arrival and airport departure.
Key leaders of KSIA were also present at numerous sessions of the event. Chief Strategic Management Officer Sanjay Khanna joined the panel “Aviation 2025 and Beyond,” sharing KSIA’s perspective on the future of aviation and the Kingdom’s pivotal role in shaping the next decade of air travel.
KSIA also held a series of strategic meetings with leading companies in airport design, operations, clean-energy solutions, and sustainable airside management. These discussions focused on enhancing knowledge exchange and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies in Saudi Arabia.
Dubai Airshow 2025 brought together governments, airlines, and organizations from across the aerospace and defense sectors, with KSIA successfully highlighting the ambitious plans of Vision 2030 for the evolution of regional and global aviation going forward.
