New Saudi Humanitarian Aid Shipment Crosses Rafah en Route to Gaza, Provided by KSrelief
A new shipment of Saudi humanitarian assistance, including a substantial quantity of tents, crossed the Rafah Border Crossing on Wednesday and headed toward southeastern Gaza. The aid was provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent, as part of the Saudi Popular Campaign to support the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The shipment is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing relief efforts through KSrelief to help alleviate the severe humanitarian conditions facing Palestinians in Gaza, making this support essential for families in the enclave.
KSrelief has so far operated an air bridge and a sea bridge, through which 73 aircraft and 8 ships have delivered more than 7,670 tons of food, medical, and shelter supplies. The center provided over 20 ambulances to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and signed agreements with international organizations to implement relief projects inside Gaza worth $90.35 million. Additionally, joint airdrop operations with Jordan have been conducted to overcome crossing closures and ensure aid delivery.
