Islamic Affairs Minister Launches Two Projects at King Fahd Quran Printing Complex

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh inaugurated two development projects yesterday at the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah during an inspection visit.

Following the inauguration, the minister expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for its continuous support of the complex. He emphasized that the development projects aim to enhance production efficiency and printing quality, while also expanding access to Quranic content through an improved digital platform, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

He explained that the first project involved launching the complex's digital platform, which offers interactive features and expanded services for all users. The modern interface supports multiple devices and provides clear, direct access to various services, including accessibility tools designed for individuals with special needs. This initiative reinforces the complex’s mission to serve the Holy Quran and promote its teachings globally.

The second project focuses on advancing digital printing, assembly, and sewing technologies. It incorporates modern systems that improve production speed, efficiency, and quality. The printing machines can operate at speeds of up to 110 meters per minute and accommodate various paper weights. Meanwhile, the assembly and digital sewing processes reach speeds of 10 meters per minute, with a daily production capacity of up to 10,000 copies of the Holy Quran prepared for binding.
