
IMCTC Launches Program in Abidjan to Address Terrorism Financing, Money Laundering
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched today a training program to curb terrorism financing operations in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan, under the title "Countering Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering."
Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization Ibrahim Kalil Konaté and IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi attended the launch ceremony.
The strategic initiative is the first of its kind among the initiatives implemented in Abidjan. It aims to enhance the capabilities of participants from relevant institutions to tackle challenges related to terrorism financing and money laundering.
The program includes intensive courses and workshops presented by international experts and reviews international laws related to combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
