Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Quran and Sunnah Competition in South Africa

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance concluded on Thursday the final rounds of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah in South Africa. The event was organized by the ministry, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi embassy in Pretoria, Johannesburg.
 The two-day final rounds saw the participation of 44 contestants from 29 Southern African countries. They had qualified from a pool of more than 80,000 participants who took part in the preliminary rounds.
 The closing ceremony to honor the winners will take place today at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
