Jeddah to Host Snooker Masters Tournament Tomorrow with World-Class Lineup

Jeddah is set to host the launch of the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters tomorrow, one of the four major global tournaments in the sport. The event will take place from August 8 to 16 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City, bringing together elite snooker players from around the world. It is organized by the Saudi Billiard and Snooker Federation in strategic partnership with Matchroom and in cooperation with the World Snooker Tour (WST), under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Sport.

A total of 144 players from various countries will compete for the tournament title, with total prize money exceeding £2 million, making it the second-highest-paying event on the 2025 WST calendar.

The competition will be played on eight tables during the first five days, offering fans and snooker enthusiasts the opportunity to watch the largest number of matches and star players. The quarterfinals will be held on August 14, followed by the semifinals on August 15, with the final match and crowning of the champion set for Saturday, August 16.

This tournament is part of a series of major international sporting events hosted by the Kingdom, reinforcing its position as a premier global destination for sports and athletes. It also contributes to the development of the sports sector, the expansion of grassroots participation across various disciplines—including snooker—and supports broader economic and social objectives in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
