Over 1.5 Million Students in Makkah, Madinah Return to School Today

Public schools in Makkah and Madinah regions will welcome students of all levels today, marking the start of the 1447 AH academic year, in accordance with the official calendar.

 The Administration of Education in Makkah Region has prepared 2,455 schools to receive more than 500,000 students, who will be taught by over 38,000 teachers. In Jeddah Governorate, 2,384 schools are ready for 714,273 students, while 1,700 schools in Taif Governorate will accommodate 270,000 students.

 In Madinah Region, 1,829 schools are prepared for 413,551 students, who will be taught by 34,637 teachers.
