Civil Defense Exhibition in Riyadh Blends 100 Years of Heritage with Fire and Rescue Tech

The General Directorate of Civil Defense organized a comprehensive exhibition in Riyadh, held alongside the Kingdom's hosting of the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, to raise public awareness of the vital role of civil defense, highlight key services, and showcase the latest global developments and technologies in civil protection.

 A centerpiece of the exhibition was a dedicated pavilion commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Saudi Civil Defense. The pavilion successfully merged history with innovation, displaying the first fire engine in the Kingdom alongside cutting-edge technologies such as a drone for detecting chemical and radioactive materials, a firefighting robot, a three-wheeled motorcycle for rapid intervention, and immersive virtual reality technology.

 The exhibition offered visitors a clear view of the evolution of the Kingdom's fire and rescue capabilities, from its historical roots to its current status as a technologically advanced force.
