World Fire and Rescue Championship Concludes Firefighting Competition

The preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds of the men's and women's firefighting competition concluded today at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City in Riyadh as part of the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, organized by the Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Civil Defense in cooperation with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers.

 The firefighting competition featured intense competition amid a large audience and strong engagement from sports enthusiasts. The event involved using water pumps and hoses to extinguish a simulated fire that replicated real-life scenarios, testing speed, accuracy, and decision-making skills.

 The championship serves as an international platform to promote the firefighting and rescue profession, enhance practitioners' skills, foster cooperation among member countries, and showcase the latest global technologies in safety and civil protection.
