Riyadh Adorned with Flags for Founding Day Celebrations

The Riyadh Municipality has finalized preparations for the 2025 Founding Day celebrations, installing over 8,000 flags across the capital, with an integrated operational plan ensuring the strategic placement of flags representing both the First Saudi State and the modern Kingdom.

The installation included 2,403 flags on main road masts, 3,776 on squares, bridges, and intersections, and 1,851 on lighting poles using mechanical holders. The municipality's plan emphasized aesthetic harmony by distributing the flags to complement the city's urban landscape, using advanced mechanical holders for safe installation and selecting appropriate flag sizes for clear visibility.

Specialized field teams followed a strict timetable to efficiently complete the installations, prioritizing safety, sustainability, and regular maintenance throughout the celebration period.

These efforts reflect the Riyadh Municipality's commitment to highlighting national identity and improving the urban landscape, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030 to enhance the capital's visual appeal and showcase the Kingdom's heritage.
