Authority for the Two Holy Mosques Offers Immersive Experience at Hajj Conference

 Visitors to the pavilion of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque at the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 experience a live immersive journey through virtual-reality technology.
 The pavilion features a detailed simulation of the process of changing the Holy Kaaba’s “Kiswa” cover, illustrating its intricate manufacturing and installation stages and offering a lifelike perspective on this revered annual event.
 Through the pavilion, visitors can explore three-dimensional (3D) models of the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque, highlighting architectural details and landmarks such as the Black Stone, the Holy Kaaba’s door, and the movable domes, enhancing their understanding of these holy sites.
 The pavilion features a section for materials of the Two Holy Mosques that allows visitors to feel the white Thassos marble used in the Grand Mosque’s floors. The section also includes samples of luxury carpets and the Holy Kaaba's Kiswa threads made of silk and silver wire plated with gold.
