Film Commission Showcases Saudi Cinema at 2025 American Film Market
The Film Commission is participating in the 2025 American Film Market (AFM), held in Los Angeles, USA, from November 11 to 16. The commission aims to showcase the sector’s investment opportunities, foster partnerships with global producers and distributors, and promote the growth of the Saudi film industry. These efforts underscore its commitment to empowering the national film sector and positioning the Kingdom as a regional hub for creative production.
AFM is one of the world’s leading film markets, specializing in film financing, distribution, and co-production. It serves as a major platform for filmmakers, investors, and distributors in the film industry.
As part of its attendance, the Film Commission will feature a national pavilion highlighting the progress of the Kingdom’s film sector. Visitors to the pavilion will learn about Saudi Arabia’s diverse filming locations and available film funding and incentive programs. An official delegation from the commission will also attend to build professional relationships and further collaboration with partners in co-production, distribution, financing, and film services.
The commission’s presence at AFM 2025 reflects its mission to expand international engagement and create new avenues for cooperation that support the continued development of the Saudi film ecosystem.
