HRH the Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet Session in Riyadh

 His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held in Riyadh today.
 HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the outcomes of his meeting with King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim, highlighting discussions on developing and strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields.
 The Cabinet reviewed the latest regional and international developments, reaffirming the Kingdom's steadfast support for efforts aimed at establishing security and stability in the region and worldwide.
 In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, Minister of State, Cabinet Member for Shura Council Affairs, and Acting Minister of Media Issam bin Saad bin Saeed said that the Cabinet discussed the state's comprehensive care and attention to the affairs of Hajj, Umrah, and visitation through all relevant agencies. The Cabinet hailed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' address during the fifth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, which reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to serving the two holy mosques and their visitors while continually improving services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
 The Cabinet praised the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) for organizing the inaugural History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques forum, which underscores the Kingdom's efforts and leadership in serving the two holy mosques since the era of its Founder King Abdulaziz.
 The Cabinet highlighted the Kingdom's achievement in leading the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa region with 16 cities approved as healthy by the World Health Organization, reflecting its commitment to prioritizing human health in development and promoting preventive principles in line with the Quality of Life Program and the Health Sector Transformation Program outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
 The Cabinet also noted that the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by the Kingdom and featuring 3,000 athletes from 57 countries, emphasize sports as a means to strengthen the values of Islamic brotherhood and foster peace, love, and fair competition.
 Additionally, the Cabinet commended the signing of agreements and initiatives valued at over SAR38 billion during the Biban Forum 2025 in Riyadh, aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and boosting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom.
 The Cabinet reviewed the findings in the World Bank report regarding the improvement of educational quality in the Kingdom through evaluation and measurement, reflecting the state's commitment to education as a fundamental pillar for human capability development and sustainable economic growth.
 The Cabinet addressed other items on its agenda and issued several decisions, including the following:
 First:
 Authorizing the minister of culture, or a deputy, to discuss and sign with the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH) an agreement between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and ALIPH on the establishment of a regional office for the alliance in Riyadh.
 Second:
 Authorizing the minister of culture, or a deputy, to discuss and sign with the Nigerian side a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Nigerian Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy.
 Third:
 Authorizing the minister of education, or a deputy, to discuss and sign with the Bahraini side a draft memorandum of scientific and educational cooperation between the Saudi Ministry of Education and the Bahraini Ministry of Education.
 Fourth:
 Approving a memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic for cooperation in the field of energy.
 Fifth:
 Approving the charter of establishing the Global Water Organization.
 Sixth:
 Approving an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Olympic Council of Asia, and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
 Seventh:
 Approving a memorandum of understanding for judicial cooperation between the Saudi Ministry of Justice and the US Department of Justice.
 Eighth:
 Approving a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the economic field between the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Commerce, and Business.
 Ninth:
 Approving a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi National Institute of Health and the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health under the Department of Health and Human Services.
