Transport Authority: Ride-Hailing Trips Surge to 32 Million in Q2 2025

The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced yesterday that the number of trips completed through ride-hailing applications exceeded 32 million in the second quarter of 2025, marking a 104% increase compared to the same period last year.

 According to TGA, the number of passengers transported surpassed 263,000, reflecting an 81% growth and highlighting the growing demand for this sector across the Kingdom. Additionally, the number of active platforms reached approximately 15,300, representing a notable 87% increase.

 The authority is working to enhance the quality of services offered through ride-hailing applications, ensuring efficient, reliable, and high-quality transportation options that meet the needs and expectations of users across all regions of the Kingdom.
