Mahd Sports Academy plays a crucial role in advancing Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and developing a comprehensive sports system that cultivates generations capable of global competition while enhancing the Kingdom's presence in international sports.
Launched in July 2020 under Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Mahd Sports Academy is the first national platform dedicated to discovering and developing sports talent from an early age, aligning with Vision 2030's goals for youth and sports sector advancement.
The academy employs a structured training model for three age groups: foundational (8 to 12 years), talent development (12 to 18 years), and professional qualification (18 years and older).
On June 3, 2025, the academy celebrated the graduation of its first cohort in football, judo, and taekwondo. It offers a diverse range of sports such as football, taekwondo, swimming, and athletics to nurture various talents and encourage wider participation.
Mahd Sports Academy is committed to preparing a competent Saudi sports generation through innovative initiatives and strategic partnerships, solidifying its role as a leading platform for talent discovery and fulfilling the Kingdom's aspirations for a bright future in sports.
