SDAIA Becomes First Middle East Government Entity to Earn CREST Certification

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has become the first government entity in the Middle East to receive multiple international cybersecurity certifications from CREST International. This milestone builds upon a series of international certifications and accreditations that SDAIA has earned across various fields, made possible by the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the authority’s Board of Directors. SDAIA plays a vital role in advancing data and AI, fostering their development, and harnessing their potential to benefit humanity.
This achievement also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to develop government agencies and achieve excellence in their performance. SDAIA has actively pursued this goal, earning four certifications from CREST.
The authority also provides advanced data analytics and predictive capabilities, continuously enhancing them through innovation in AI, thereby securing the Kingdom’s leadership among data- and AI-driven economies.
The CREST certification is a globally recognized standard in cybersecurity. It grants accreditation to organizations that rigorously adhere to its requirements, particularly in procedures, technologies, and governance related to cybersecurity controls and their professional application.
