The minister's remarks came in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) during the transfer of the conjoined Jamaican twins to the Kingdom aboard a medical evacuation aircraft operated by the Ministry of Defense on Monday. The transfer was attended by Saudi non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Jamaica Waleed Alhamoudi, along with a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
Minister Smith affirmed that the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, affiliated with KSrelief, represents an inspiring model of humanitarian work and medical excellence, contributing to the strengthening of cooperation and friendly relations between nations and peoples.

At the conclusion of her statement, the Jamaican minister expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for this noble humanitarian act, which embodies the highest values of brotherhood and international human solidarity.
Additionally, she expressed her hope that the efforts of the medical and surgical team of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, led by KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, will be crowned with success, marking a turning point in the lives of the twins.
