KSrelief Launches Training Program to Enhance Yemeni Farmers' Capacities

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a training program in Ghayl Ba Wazir District of Hadhramaut Governorate, aimed at strengthening the capacities of 450 farmers across Yemen.

This falls under the project for sustainable agriculture and empowerment in agriculture and fisheries, which is designed to enhance community resilience and promote long-term development in Yemen. It will cover the governorates of Al-Mahra, Socotra, Shabwah, Marib, and Hadhramaut.

Participants will receive specialized training courses in sustainable agricultural program design, agricultural management and marketing, integrated pest management, fertilizer preparation, and the optimum use of pesticides, besides training in veterinary practices.

The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts to support sustainable development in Yemen and improve food security and livelihoods for vulnerable populations.
