Saudi EXIM Signs Line of Credit Agreement with Iraq’s Al Mansour Bank for Investment

The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) has signed a line of credit agreement with Iraq’s Al Mansour Bank for Investment to enhance the flow of Saudi non-oil exports to the Iraqi market and promote bilateral trade between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq. The agreement was signed by CEO of Saudi EXIM Saad bin Abdulaziz Alkhalb and Managing Director of Al Mansour Bank for Investment Dr. Walid Abdel Nour at Saudi EXIM’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The agreement supports Saudi EXIM’s strategy of delivering specialized credit solutions that foster the growth of Saudi non-oil exports and strengthen their global competitiveness through the establishment of effective strategic partnerships with international financial institutions. It also represents a practical step toward facilitating the growth of Saudi exports and enhancing their competitiveness in the Iraqi market by encouraging Iraqi buyers to import Saudi products and services. This, in turn, creates greater opportunities for Saudi exporters to expand their export activities to Iraq.

On this occasion, CEO of Saudi EXIM Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Alkhalb commented: “This agreement reflects Saudi EXIM’s commitment to enabling Saudi non-oil exports and creating new pathways for Saudi exporters to access regional markets, particularly the Iraqi market, thereby contributing to the growth of bilateral trade and strengthening economic relations between the two countries. The agreement also aligns with Saudi EXIM’s strategy of building effective strategic partnerships with international financial institutions to further enhance the presence of Saudi products and services across the region.”

Saudi EXIM continues to expand its strategic partnerships to enhance the efficiency of the export and import ecosystem, facilitate trade with regional and international markets, and stimulate trade and investment opportunities for Saudi exporters across various sectors. Saudi EXIM places particular emphasis on building international partnerships that contribute to the development and diversification of Saudi non-oil exports and enhance their global competitiveness.
