AlUla Program Continues to Support Specialized Astrophotography Talent

The AlUla Manara astrophotography ambassadors program continues to support Saudi, regional, and international talent specializing in astrophotography through an integrated platform of training programs and specialized workshops. The initiative aims to develop participants' skills, enable them to capture the beauty of the night sky, and showcase AlUla's unique natural and astronomical assets. It also seeks to strengthen AlUla's position as a leading destination for sustainable astrotourism.

 As part of these efforts, AlUla Manara organized an astrophotography workshop where participants shared their experiences in photographing the night sky, exchanged technical and professional expertise, and discussed best practices for documenting astronomical scenes. The workshop aimed to enhance specialized visual content and reinforce AlUla's standing as a global astrotourism destination.

 The program seeks to build a specialized community of astrophotographers through workshops and training programs that combine theoretical instruction with practical application. These activities help participants refine their skills and enrich specialized astrophotography content.

 The program also provides participants with opportunities to photograph selected sites across AlUla, including nature reserves and restricted-access locations. These opportunities enable them to capture astronomical and natural scenes rarely accessible to photographers while gaining valuable field experience in landscape and night-sky photography.

 The initiative is the first of its kind in the Kingdom to support and nurture ambassadors specializing in astrophotography. It seeks to empower participants to produce visual works that promote astrotourism and highlight the exceptional quality of AlUla's night skies and distinctive natural features.
