Communications Minister Meets with OpenAI CEO to Strengthen Partnerships

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a meeting in the United States with CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen global partnerships in technology and artificial intelligence (AI), and to expand collaboration in generative technologies and the development of innovative solutions.

 They discussed enabling AI inference centers globally, contributing to the development of advanced infrastructure that supports trusted AI applications and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for advanced research and technologies.

 The collaboration comes as a continuation of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to support the digital economy and AI ecosystem, and to reinforce its leadership in building a future based on knowledge and innovation, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
