King Abdulaziz Quran Competition’s Participants: Kingdom's Care for Religious Sites Reflects Leadership in Preserving Islamic Heritage

Participants in the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran -- organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance -- praised the Kingdom's comprehensive renaissance and rapid development across various fields, affirming that these strengthened its leading position as a global religious and cultural hub.
 They also highlighted the Kingdom's great care and attention to the religious sites and historical landmarks of Madinah, viewing them as a human and cultural heritage that spans thousands of years and embodies the depth of Islamic history and its rich civilization.
 “I was deeply delighted with what I witnessed during the visits program in Madinah, which showcased a rich cultural and historical heritage reflecting many aspects of Islamic history and embodying the Kingdom's care for these landmarks dating back to earlier eras and linked to the time of the Prophet,” said contestant Abdulrahman Abdullah Othman from the Republic of Somalia.
 He also praised the services and facilities provided for visitors and Umrah performers from various countries.
 Contestant Mustafa Drame from the Republic of Guinea-Bissau affirmed that the Kingdom represents a global religious and cultural destination, as it is home to numerous historical landmarks, archaeological sites, and major tourism projects.
 He highlighted the Kingdom's rapid growth in establishing development projects that enhance its capacity to welcome visitors and tourists from around the world throughout the year.
 Meanwhile, contestant Salahuddin from the Republic of Portugal expressed his admiration for the diverse cultural and educational components he observed during his visit to historical sites in Madinah. He indicated that he received a thorough explanation of the history of these sites and their connection to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), noting the facilities provided by the concerned authorities that enable visitors to access the various sites with ease.
 The participants in the competition extended their gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership for its great care for the Holy Quran and its memorizers, and for enabling them to visit the Prophet’s Mosque, pray at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa, and explore the main historical landmarks in Madinah.
 They also expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for organizing such spiritual visits, which enriched their experience and created unforgettable spiritual memories that embodied generosity, Islamic brotherhood, and care for the memorizers of the Holy Quran.
