Prophet's Mosque Minarets Stand as Beacons of Islamic Architectural Heritage

Ten minarets rise across the corners of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, standing as enduring symbols of Islamic architectural heritage and remaining deeply connected to the call to prayer that welcomes worshippers from around the world.

Distributed according to a harmonious architectural design, four minarets are located on the northern side, with one at each corner—northeast, northwest, southeast, and southwest—and two centering the eastern and western sides. Each minaret consists of several tiers designed in a consistent Islamic style, reflecting the evolution of Islamic architectural art through the ages.

The minarets continue to fulfill their daily mission by raising the call to prayer, creating a spiritual atmosphere that embodies the mosque's profound significance for Muslims worldwide.
