Madinah Book Fair 2025 Kicks Off with Over 300 Publishing Houses Participating
The fourth edition of the Madinah Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, began and will run through August 4. Held at the exhibition venue behind the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center, the fair features more than 300 Arab and international publishing houses and agencies spread across over 200 pavilions.
This year’s edition offers a rich cultural experience, showcasing a wide array of recent publications in literature, knowledge, and science, catering to readers of diverse backgrounds and interests. The fair also includes a comprehensive cultural program featuring seminars, dialogue sessions, creative workshops, and poetry and literary evenings, with the participation of leading intellectuals and cultural figures.
The fair will also include a dedicated book signing corner to provide visitors with the opportunity to meet authors and explore their literary journeys firsthand. In addition, several government entities, cultural organizations, and community institutions are taking part in the exhibition to highlight key initiatives that promote reading and cultural engagement.
The Madinah Book Fair is part of the broader “Book Fairs” initiative, a strategic effort by the Commission to strengthen the publishing sector, foster cultural and intellectual awareness, and contribute to economic growth and improved quality of life in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
