Makkah Municipality Shuts Down 12 Violating Facilities in Inspection Campaign

The Holy Makkah Municipality recently ramped up its inspection campaigns on warehouses and repair shops, resulting in the closure of seven violating warehouses and five repair shops. These facilities were shut down for operating with either no license or an expired one.

This initiative is a part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to curb illegal business practices and activities within Makkah to ensure public safety. The municipality stated that these actions are crucial for enhancing the quality of the work environment and ensuring all businesses comply with official regulations.

These efforts align with the national Quality of Life program, which seeks to improve the urban landscape and provide a safe environment for residents and visitors. The municipality is urging the public to report any violations via the unified number 940 or the "Balady" application, emphasizing that community cooperation is vital to the success of these inspection campaigns.
