Buraidah Dates Carnival Sees Booming Business, Sales Exceed SAR627 Million in August

The Buraidah Dates Carnival is seeing exceptional activity and growing demand, attracting a large number of local and international shoppers and traders with its more than 100 varieties of dates.

 According to official statistics for August, the carnival's date sales reached SAR627,944,550. A total of 44,074 vehicles arrived at the carnival, carrying 8,372,594 packages of dates, which amounted to 33,490,376 kilograms (or 33,490 tons).

 Known as the largest date market in the world, the Buraidah Dates Carnival was recognized by the Guinness World Records last year. In addition to its trade, the event hosts more than 30 cultural, social, and awareness-raising activities.
