New Digital Link Enhances Saudi-Syrian Health Cooperation
The Ministry of Health launched a digital link today between the Seha Virtual Hospital and the Syrian Ministry of Health, in a ceremony attended by Minister Fahad AlJalajel, Syrian Health Minister Dr. Musaab Al-Ali, and Syrian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdulsalam Haykal, who joined virtually.
This digital connection marks a major advancement in Saudi-Syrian health cooperation and strengthens digital health infrastructure. It establishes direct communication between health platforms, facilitating immediate healthcare services, 24/7 remote consultations, diagnosis, and treatment. The initiative also supports the development of a robust health system in Syria.
The project leverages the Kingdom's digital health capabilities, allowing Syrian medical personnel to access Saudi expertise and improve responses to critical cases. It reinforces the Kingdom's role as a regional hub for virtual medicine and underscores both countries' commitment to enhancing cross-border healthcare services.
