ICESCO Calls for Solidarity, Cooperation to Advance Global Peace

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) has called for greater solidarity and cooperation to advance global peace, particularly in regions affected by conflict and unrest.
In a statement issued from its headquarters in Rabat on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the values of peace, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue across its member states through various programs and initiatives. It also highlighted the importance of mobilizing key stakeholders, including religious leaders, traditional authorities, and women, in efforts to achieve this goal.
ICESCO renewed its call for intensified international efforts to boost global peace by fostering values of tolerance, moderation, dialogue, and cultural diversity, while also building the capacities of young leaders and women at both local and global levels.
