KSrelief Operates Sustainable Water Well in Taiz Governorate

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday inaugurated the Al-Hayat School well in the Old Airport area of Al-Mudhaffar District in Taiz Governorate, as part of a project to enhance safe and clean water sources sustainably for the governorate's residents.
 The project included drilling an artesian well to a depth of 450 meters, equipping it with a complete pumping unit, installing a solar power system, constructing a control room, and connecting the well to the water network. This provides a comprehensive system for operating the well and ensuring a sustainable water supply, while utilizing renewable energy and reducing reliance on petroleum products. The project will benefit 15,000 people.
 Taiz Deputy Governor Eng. Rashad Al-Akhal praised KSrelief's role in supporting humanitarian, service, and development projects in Taiz. He emphasized that such interventions represent a practical response to residents' basic needs and help alleviate the burdens of daily life and improve service quality.
 He commended the center's efforts in implementing and completing the project according to its technical and service components. This comes as part of the Kingdom's keenness, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support sustainable water projects in Yemen, which contributes to improving basic services, increasing water security, improving the living conditions of the population, and achieving a sustainable humanitarian and developmental impact.
