Hajj Conference Concludes in Jeddah, Showcases Innovation, Collaboration
The fourth Hajj Conference and Exhibition, themed "A Passage to Nusuk" and organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, concluded yesterday in Jeddah after the four-day event attracted over 100 countries, 300 exhibitors, and 150 speakers across 75 dialogue sessions.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfig Al-Rabiah expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their unwavering support. He also thanked all those who contributed to enhancing the Hajj experience.
The event, attended by nearly 150,000 visitors, brought together leading service providers to explore innovative solutions and foster collaboration with Hajj affairs offices worldwide. The Nusuk Masar platform, enabling countries to complete arrangements electronically, played a crucial role in streamlining services in line with the digital transformation goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The conference addressed key challenges facing the Hajj sector, including sustainability, artificial intelligence, and the integration of digital technologies. It also served as a platform for presenting and supporting pioneering and innovative projects.
On the sidelines of the event, Hajj agreements were signed with 77 countries. This followed extensive preparatory work, including the delivery of 80 initial arrangement documents to Hajj affairs offices worldwide and the convening of 78 preparatory meetings and six workshops.
These agreements reflect the Kingdom's dedication to delivering a seamless and fulfilling Hajj experience, while upholding the highest standards of quality and organization. Countries are currently working within a set timeline to finalize arrangements for their pilgrims, with the deadline for service contracts scheduled for February 14, 2025.
