King Abdulaziz University to Host Special Edition of ‘TEDxKAU’ Under Theme ‘Beyond the Moment’

King Abdulaziz University will host a special edition of the “TEDxKAU” initiative next Wednesday under the theme “Beyond the Moment.”
 The event aims to raise youth awareness about the vital role of the Waqf (endowment) sector in economic and social development, encourage greater community participation, and attract a new generation of Waqf donors. It will also spotlight successful Waqf experiences locally and internationally, inspiring individuals and institutions to launch initiatives that expand the sector’s contribution to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product, in line with Vision 2030.
 A group of prominent experts and practitioners in community development will share insights on the sustainability of giving and its long-term societal impact. Discussions will explore how ideas and experiences can transcend their time and be passed down through generations, reshaping traditional concepts of social solidarity into innovative developmental tools that drive growth and prosperity.
 TEDx, a global platform for inspirational dialogue, seeks through this initiative to highlight the roles of giving and innovation in building a brighter, more sustainable future.
