King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center launches two voluntary medical projects in Syria as part of the Saudi Hope Program

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched two voluntary medical projects in the fields of pediatric cardiac catheterization and prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation in Damascus, Syria, from August 15 to 22, 2025. These projects are part of the Saudi Hope Volunteer Program to help people in Syria. The projects involved 11 volunteers from various medical specialties.
Since the launch of the campaign, the center's volunteer medical team has performed 10 pediatric cardiac catheterizations, all of which were completely successful. They also took the necessary measurements for the preparation and installation of prosthetic limbs.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Hope Volunteer Program aims to implement 104 campaigns in the medical and surgical fields, in addition to providing training and educational programs and economic empowerment initiatives targeting needy groups in several Syrian cities. The program involves more than 3,000 male and female volunteers, with a total of approximately 218,500 volunteer hours.
This comes as part of the voluntary medical efforts implemented by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, to assist the needy and affected segments of the Syrian people affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
