International Falcon Breeders Auction 2025 in Riyadh Draws Global Visitors, Highlights Saudi Falconry Heritage
The International Falcon Breeders Auction 2025, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its Malham headquarters north of Riyadh, attracted tourists and foreign families to explore activities and the Kingdom’s falconry heritage.
Families learned about falcon species, feeding, sales management, and the club’s efforts to preserve the heritage and support breeding farms.
The "Future Falconer" pavilion drew children, who saw tools for training and care, learned about hunting practices, and watched videos of Future Falconers' participation in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, part of efforts to pass the heritage across generations.
The auction is a key economic, investment, and heritage destination, reflecting the sector’s rapid growth in the Kingdom. It brings together leading breeders and enthusiasts from the Kingdom and abroad and supports the Kingdom’s position as a leading regional hub.
The live auction continues with falconers, breeders, and enthusiasts in attendance. Proceedings are broadcast on TV and social media, and participating falcons are displayed in farm pavilions, enhancing the Kingdom’s global standing in falconry.
