Madinah's Rural Farms Attract Summer Visitors

Amid rising city temperatures, rural farms in Madinah Region are attracting a growing number of summer visitors, offering a peaceful retreat with mild weather and scenic landscapes, while many farms prepare their facilities to welcome guests.

 The visits coincide with the start of the date harvest season, a major agricultural event that offers visitors the opportunity to learn about farming techniques and experience the vibrant harvest atmosphere firsthand.

 The farms also play a key role in promoting agricultural tourism, offering workshops and a platform for local farmers to sell products such as dates and honey. The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture supports this sector through electronic licensing, as well as technical and market access support.
