Participants Finalized for 'AlUla Desert Blaze' Race
Preparations were completed in AlUla for the latest edition of the AlUla Desert Blaze race, with over 500 runners from various countries set to compete when the competitive stages begin today. The two-day event is considered one of the region’s most challenging desert races, traversing AlUla’s diverse natural landscapes, including rocky canyons, sand dunes, and green oases, as well as passing by distinctive historical and natural landmarks.
On the first day, participating runners from within the Kingdom and abroad arrived on the previous evening, where they were welcomed and briefed on race procedures and technical instructions. Race kits and supplies were distributed to each participant in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of competition and readiness for the challenge.
