Vice-Minister for Mining Affairs Meets Commodity Marketing Leaders in Switzerland

Vice-Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer met here on Thursday with representatives from major global commodity marketing and trading firms in Geneva.

 The meeting aimed to attract international commodity trading and marketing houses to invest in and collaborate with Saudi Arabia’s mining sector, strengthening the Kingdom's position as a global mining and mining services hub.

 The meeting was part of Almudaifer’s participation in a roundtable discussion organized by the Saudi Export-Import Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

 The event was attended by Saudi Export-Import Bank Chief Executive Eng. Saad Alkhalb, National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) Chief Executive Eng. Suliman Almazroua, Assistant Deputy Minister of Investment for Industrial Sectors Ammar Altaf, and senior leaders from the ministry’s mining sector.

 Discussions focused on strengthening trade partnerships, supporting raw-material supply chains, and expanding global markets for Saudi products.
