KSrelief Continues Humanitarian Efforts to Support People in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues its humanitarian and relief efforts in Yemen through a range of projects and initiatives targeting the most vulnerable groups.

 In response to ongoing displacement, KSrelief implemented a series of relief interventions and economic empowerment projects across various Yemeni governorates from September 8 to 15, 2026, benefiting more than 52,000 people.

 The field efforts included the distribution of 3,184 food baskets in Abyan Governorate, 820 food baskets in Al-Mahrah Governorate, and 1,178 food baskets in the Hadhramaut coast and Al-Mukalla.

 Additional food baskets were distributed to 164 families in Taiz and 764 families in Al-Hudaydah.

 The assistance also included the distribution of 1,150 cartons of dates, along with additional cartons of dates distributed in Taiz, benefiting 1,494 people. In addition, 77 tents and 77 shelter kits were provided to people affected and displaced by the crisis in Marib Governorate and Al-Mokha District in Taiz.

 In the area of sustainable development and economic empowerment, KSrelief launched a project in Hadhramaut and Socotra governorates to support small-scale livestock and beekeepers, targeting 990 small-scale producers.

 The project includes the reclamation of agricultural land, the establishment of fodder production groups, and the provision of technical training, capacity-building, and the necessary equipment to improve production efficiency and livelihoods.

 These efforts are part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian role and reflect its commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and vital sectors.
