SDAIA Launches Third Edition of AI and Data Dictionary with Spanish at UNESCO Global Forum in Riyadh
The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) today announced the launch of the third edition of the AI and Data Dictionary, which adds Spanish to its languages. The new edition was launched in collaboration with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) during a specialized session at the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh.
The dictionary was launched in 2022 through cooperation between SDAIA and KSGAAL to compile key technical terms in data and AI with concise definitions. It aims to enrich specialized content, raise technical awareness, and standardize scientific terms and concepts.
Since its launch, the dictionary has evolved into a multilingual reference, with French added alongside Arabic and English. The third edition introduces Spanish, further expanding the dictionary's international reach.
