King Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority Marks World Ranger Day

The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority marked World Ranger Day, celebrated worldwide on July 31, reaffirming its leading role in empowering national field personnel and strengthening efforts to protect nature and biodiversity within the reserve.

 Its events highlighted the crucial tasks of the ranger teams and their pivotal role in monitoring wildlife and overseeing field activities that support the preservation of natural ecosystems.

 The authority emphasized that the rangers are the first line of defense for the reserve’s resources. Working around the clock, they protect wildlife and plant habitats, maintain ecological balance, monitor changes in animal, bird, and plant populations, and safeguard heritage and historical monuments.
