ZATCA Urges Commercial Sector to Submit VAT Statements for February
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has called on commercial establishments subject to value-added tax (VAT) with annual revenues exceeding SAR40 million from goods and services to submit their VAT statements for February 2025 by March 31, 2025.
ZATCA urged these establishments to promptly submit their tax statements via the zatca.gov.sa website or the ZATCA smartphone application to avoid penalties ranging from a minimum of 5% to a maximum of 25% of the tax amount owed.
The authority also encouraged taxpayers in the commercial sector seeking additional information on VAT to contact its 24/7 call center at 19993, reach out via its X account @Zatca_Care, email info@zatca.gov.sa, or use the instant chat feature available on its website, zatca.gov.sa.
VAT is an indirect tax imposed on most goods and services purchased and sold by establishments, with certain exceptions.
