Makkah Municipality Mobilizes Resources for Ramadan's Final 10 Days

Makkah Municipality has mobilized its full resources and operational plans to accommodate the influx of worshippers during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

The municipality is implementing a comprehensive strategy, coordinating closely with relevant authorities to ensure efficiency.

The operational plan prioritizes sanitation, environmental health, market supervision, and compliance with preventive health measures, especially in the densely populated central area around the Grand Mosque.

For sanitation services, the municipality has assigned 13,549 workers, supported by 912 cleaning machines and 87,000 waste containers. Transitional stations, waste compactors, and pest control teams are fully active, with field teams maintaining cleanliness around the clock.

Market inspections and food safety checks have intensified across 35,000 commercial and food establishments, including seasonal stalls and kiosks citywide to ensure adherence to health standards and high-quality services for worshippers and visitors.
