Civil Defense Raises Safety Awareness among Hajj Service Workers at Holy Sites
The General Directorate of Civil Defense conducted awareness lectures for personnel from agencies working in Hajj services, as well as workers in pilgrim accommodation camps in the holy sites.
The lectures covered a range of fire safety topics, including the proper use of basic firefighting equipment, evacuation procedures, and appropriate responses during emergencies. They also highlighted common observations and violations that may pose risks within the camps, along with ways to address and mitigate their causes, thereby contributing to a safe environment for pilgrims.
The directorate affirmed its continued awareness and preventive efforts in the holy sites through the implementation of field programs and lectures, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and fire protection requirements.
